Bangladesh School Muscat (BSM) has been a pivotal institution for the Bangladeshi expatriate community in Oman since its inception. Established on November 3, 1996, under the sponsorship of the Bangladesh Embassy in Oman, the school was a response to the growing need for a dedicated educational institution that could cater to Bangladeshi students in the Sultanate of Oman. It received approval from the Omani Ministry of Education, marking the beginning of its journey as a significant hub of learning for the Bangladeshi diaspora.
